We are seeking an experienced farm worker (2+ years) for an Assistant Manager position on an 850 and 600-cow farms in the Kapuka area, milking through a 54 Rotary Bale and 40 AS Herringbone shed. You'll have a range of responsibilities including the day-to-day management support including: Milking Shed Management Animal Husbandry and Production Animal Health Monitoring, Management and Treatment Pasture and fodder Management Maintenance of Shed, Equipment and Machinery Know and meet regulatory rules & requirements Breeding, Calving and Calf rearing Management Cattle transportation Contractor Organisation and Management Staff Management and other general farm duties. Weekly hours are a minimum of 35 and a maximum of 56. Since farm work is dependent on a number of unknown factors like weather and animals, any hours worked beyond the agreed maximum in a fortnightly pay period will be paid   at the agreed overtime rate....
