We are looking for an experienced and motivated 2IC for our 680-cow family dairy farm situated 8km from Dunsandel. We have a strong focus on fully feeding cows and animal health. The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of the dairy farm including milking in our modern 54 bail rotary with ACRs and in shed feeding through to pasture, fertilizer and irrigation management.   Our cows are wintered and calved down under cover in 3 herd homes. The ideal candidate will have a clear focus on individual responsibility and be a motivated team player that likes a laugh and is prepared to accept new challenges. A minimum of 3 years dairy experience is required.  Key attributes Being competent on tractors and around machinery  Good animal health awareness and early issue detection Competent hoof trimming an advantage
