Looking to Hire Herd Manager on a permanent basis.
Milking 950 cows through 50 bale rotary. Work responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, milk harvesting, basic pasture management, pest and weed control, animal health on a daily basis. Tractor work is essential. Feed management, feed calculating and feed allocation skills required, and are essential.
Applicant must be able to drive large tractor and have knowledge of feeding out. you need to be able to ride a motorbike.
Accommodation is for a single person, in a dwelling that is shared. You will need your own vehicle as the farm is 15minutes from the nearest supermarket.
All cows wintered on farm with young stock nearby for animal health management.
Simple farm layout with handy calf rearing facilities. Good calf rearing equipment to keep the job simple and efficient.
