Job Description

MS FARMING LTD is looking for 3 experienced herd managers to join us on a Permanent - Full Time role

Minimum 1 year of experience in farms
Hygiene must be of a high standard (clean and tidy)

You will be required to drive Tractor or willing to learn You may be able to ride a 2-wheeler or willing to learn
You may be required to work in rotating shifts/ roaster
You will be required to performing following duties:

You must have one year or more NZ dairy farm experience.

Jobs include all basic farm work and some responsibilities around animal health, milk quality, pasture management, tractor work, farm maintenance etc.

Managing daily milking operations and milk quality standards.
Monitoring animal health, treatment, and welfare.
Coordinating feeding, grazing, and nutrition programmes.
Assisting with breeding, mating, and calving activities.
Maintaining herd and production records.
Supervising and training farm staff.
Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety, environmental, and industry regulations.

You must be reliable and smoke/ drug free with a valid driver's license.

Salary package based on applicant capabilities.

You need to work 35-50 hours per week. We may offer you $32-$40, depending on your experience and skills
Sharing accommodation available at a cost if agreed, will be discussed at the time of signing the employment agreement.
