We are looking for a senior herd manager/2IC that has at least 2 years of herd manager experience.
Must be in the country and have a valid visa.
We are a halter farm. We peak milk 1250 cows in a 70 bail rotary shed.
Must be patient and have good animal husbandry, able to communicate well, and work well in a team.
You must be able to ride a 2 wheeler. Responsibilities include, but not limited to milking, cleaning, feeding out, tractor work, pasture management, using halter.
Farm is located 5 mins south of Hinds, Ashburton. Close to the school, preschool and playcentre.
3 bedroom house will be provided as well as wet weather gear.
Good remuneration, this will be discussed at interview.
We are a 1250 dairy cow farm located in Hinds, Canterbury.
70 bail rotary cow shed. In shed feeding.
6 pivots, 120 solid sets.
