We are seeking an experienced Herd Manager to join our team on a well-run 1300 cows dairy farm with a 54-bale rotary automatic shed. This is a hands-on role suited to someone already working at Herd Manager level.
Prioritise animal health and welfare
Carry out high-standard milking routines
Maintain excellent shed hygiene and presentation
Monitor herd health and treatments
Support feed allocation and pasture management
Complete daily farm tasks efficiently
Work well both independently and as part of a team
Demonstrate strong operational and self-management
Health and safety protocols upheld
Minimum 2 years dairy farming experience
Good knowledge of animal health, feed, and pasture management
Reliable, organized, and able to prioritise tasks
Positive team player with a strong work ethic
54 bail automated rotary, automatic teatspray, In-shed feeding(PKE)
Calving 1300 cows on 400ha
Wintering off farm
Good well-maintained machinery
