Must have at least 2 years proven experience in New Zealand in the following areas.
Tractor driving Loading and feeding out with silage wagon
Mating Heat detection to a high level No collars are used on farm
Lame cows , able to identify treat and trim lame cows
Treat Sick cows , able to identify and treat a variety of health issues in cows and record treatments
Experience with Protrac and Minda an advantage
Pasture experience doing pasture walks an advantage
MILKING COWS all of our staff are on the milking roster this is a big part of the job
Farm has centre pivot irrigation and a small amount of k-lines
ACR , in shed feeding, Protrac and Minda
