· 63ha of flat to rolling free draining land with a 60ha milking platform producing 80,000kg milksolids consistently on a system 3/4.
· A 12ha runoff carrying surplus stock and growing feed crops / silage.
· The farm is situated 5km from State Highway 1 in Tokoroa, close to schools and amenities.
· The farm has a 16 a side herringbone cowshed with automatic cup removers and plant wash, and an in shed feed system delivering minerals with grain pellets.
· The Farm Supplies Miraka, and the Te Ara Miraka farm excellence programme underpins our farm systems.
· Approximately 170 mostly Fresian cows are milked at peak.
· The position includes a tidy three bedroom house with a fireplace and DVS system. Single garage, full woodshed.
· The farm work is managed by one full time Manager supported by a part time assistant manager and where required by the owners.
· We run a base roster which we discuss and adjust where we can to accommodate ‘life’.
