We are looking for a Herd manager/ Senior farm Assistant. 700 predominantly Friesian cows through a 60 a side hearing bone with auto drafting auto teat spraying  As Herd manager/ Senior farm Assistant you will be required to support the Farm Manager and 2ic with Daily farming operations. Experience required: 2 or more seasons in the dairy industry. Key Accountabilities include: • Animal welfare - Understanding and Showing respect to animals welfare. • Production - Milking, plant wash, vat wash, drafting sick cows. • Pasture Management - Setting up break fences • Maintenance & Asset Management Protection - Fencing, farm race, machinery maintenance. • Reporting - Liaising with farm manager and 2ic. • Calving - Picking up calves, dusting, checking springer mob. • Irrigation - Effluent application...
