We are seeking a Contract Manager that has experience at this level. The farm is a well set up and well maintained 72 hectare dairy unit, located in Hamurana - Rotorua, the farm. Calf rearing is included in the Contract Manager's responsibilities.
You should see yourself motivated, have a positive attitude, take pride in your work, be able to handle responsibility and have strong ability in animal health, pasture management, stock management, milk production and farm maintenance. Applicants must have sound processes regarding crops and day to day management of the farm.
It is necessary to be proactive with all industry requirements and keep up to date. It is necessary to provide some of your own 4 x 4 motorbike or similar.
Accommodation is a good size, 3 bedroom house, with a heat pump, double garage, and fully fenced section.
You must be able to deliver work unsupervised, be reliable and have good communication skills.
This farm is drug and alcohol free. Applicants must have no police history, be clean and tidy, in and around the cowshed must be kept clean at all times also the inside and outside of the house must be kept to a high standard at all times. Supervise and control dogs at all times and must be New Zealand Citizens.
