Personal Statement

Hi I am Aden Sheely a NZ born Kiwi lad, 100% drug free, single man, I’ve been dairy farming for the past 11 years. currently working for Ross Loomans as a Contract Milker, I milk 320 cows through 30 AHB shed with cup removers, with one full time worker under me rotating from dairy farm to owner’s dry stock side. Now looking for another challenge/adventure in the form of contract milking or managing nz dairy farms anywhere in New Zealand, previously working for Zane Rendell managing his 450-cow dairy farm in 50 bail rotary shed with feed pad. I am 28 years old and have always had a passion for the outdoors and after leaving school I’ve always enjoyed farming throughout my career of 11 year's. Previously to my managing job in Otorohanga I was working for Bill Corin in matamata for 3 years as 2IC on 660 cows in rotary shed producing 550ms per cow. Now previous to that I was working for Nick Groot for 2 years in Nagauru Herd managing 440 x-bread cows on a rolling to steep farm. On the second year to that job the sharemilker took on the neighboring farm as well so at times I had one worker under me and relief milkers. As well as farming I love a lot of things outdoors like 4wheel driving, camping, tramping and adventure Riding. believe to have a very good work ethic and will always look to improve my knowledge within dairy farming to one day Owen my own farm. I always have positive attitude in life, around others and on farm to make every day a good day.
