The farm is two-thirds flat and one-third hill. There is a feed pad and maize and grass silage are fed together with some kiwifruit. There is a 50-bale rotary shed with in-shed meal feeders. Additional calves are reared as there is an associated run-off approximately 8 km from the main farm. There is very good primary schooling close to the property.
