Our Dairy Farm is on Inland North Road, Tikorangi. 101ha with an adjoining 55ha Runoff. We milk 400 Jersey Cows through a 24 Bale Rotary, producing 135,600 last season (23/24), an increase of 15,000ms on the previous year - with only an increase of 20 more cows! This season 24/25 our budget is to make 140,000ms, currently ahead 4% season to date.
You will be guided by a Farm Consultant as owners are off farm with monthly meetings and reporting taking place on a regular basis. Your communication will be excellent within the tight farm team, ie, owners and consultant. If you can follow instructions and have the work ethos and ability to understand our business plan, you can't go wrong with making money. The sky is the limit. You have the opportunity to rear bull calves as an extra bonus to make more money with a 50/50 split with the farm owners. Currently rearing 100 bulls.

You will have a good track record of efficient time keeping skills along with savvy administration skills with using Nait, & Minda.
Ideally this would suit a Husband & Wife team with a farm worker which we have housing for. You will need to be house proud with respecting the house as if it were your own, this goes for the workers cottage also. Lawns to mow, gardens to upkeep and cleaning of houses with inspections taking place every quarter. As Farm Owners we are motivated to keep the houses up to specifications and regulations to ensure your home is a happy, safe and healthy environment.
Facilities: Excellent Farm facilities, 5 bay calf shed, 400 cow feed pad and 600 tonne Maize Bunkers. We provide a John Deer Tractor, Giltrap Silage Wagon, mower. And all other machinery at a high standard.
