We are a system 2-3 farming operation. We calve 900 cows on the one farm and shift the cows to our Herd Managers once they are through the colostrum period. One farm milks 400 cows, another 300 cows and the last 160 cows. We have feed pads on two farms which we use for about 9 months of the year. We grow all our own feed on the support blocks which are within 5kms of the farms. The farms are rolling contour to some steeper parts on one farm. Overall the farms are well maintained and very presentable tidy farms.
