We are offering and understand it’s not ideal a 1 year 50/50 contract.  70ha rolling farm close to Hawera & Stratford  26 aside shed with inshed feeding, auto teat sprayer, auto drafting and feed pad.  Our preference is for our 170 cow autumn calved herd to be purchased, you can then  manage and mate to your requirements,  you will then be supplying milk from day 1 and NO calving. The herd will remain yours and won’t need to be sold back.  Or you can  supply your own herd.  

We are looking for an excellent and motivated person who is quiet with stock, takes pride in cowshed presentation and hygiene to manage and take responsibility for our 250 cow KiwiCross herd. The farm is 100ha and we milk through a tidy 22 aside H/B shed with Auto teat sprayer and drafting gate. Turnips and maize are grown on farm with some PKE use only if needed. As you will be milking sole charge you will need to of had at least 2 years experience. This would be the perfect job for someone wanting to take the final step before going into a full farm manager or contract milking role. We will be on farm most days to help guide you with the smooth running of the farm. There is a well kept 3 bedroom plus small office home with attached double garage, wood fire and heat pump available. The farm is only a short drive to Hawera where there are plenty of schooling options and a school bus does pass by the start of the road....

General farm hand required to help over 2 farms. Primary role will be milking 170 cows through a 26 aside shed with auto cup removers, teat sprayer and drafting.   The farm will be milking an Autumn calved herd so by 1st June calving will be done.   We also operate another farm close by and you will be required to help with general day to day work over the 2 farms as and when required.  A tidy 3 bedroom home with fire, heatpump and single garage is available which is close to Matapu primary school   Experience is required along with recent references
