We are looking for a drive in calf-rearer for this coming season to help with all responsibilities involving making sure our calves are well fed and cared for. We raise approximately 100 calves who are housed in sound and well maintained sheds, while following good established feeding and hygiene procedures. This is not a sole role so there will be some assistance from other team members. This position is available from approximately the end of July for 8-10 weeks. There is the opportunity to also assist as a farm hand i.e. milking, bringing in calves etc if you are interested to help cover staff days off during calving which could lead to a permanent part time position, this is negotiable. Hours 3-4 per day approximately morning and afternoon. Roster to be discussed with applicant.
