We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic farm assistant to join our dairy farming team. We are a family owned and operated dairy farm, located in Ruawai, Northland. We operate a spring calving, 580 cow, system 3 dairy unit across 230 hectares, targeting 215,000kg/ms, alongside a support block which accommodates our youngstock. We take pride in our animals, our environment and our team. The role of farm assistant will require you to be milking twice a day, assisting with milk quality and animal health, assisting with feeding animals and pasture utilisation, assisting with dairy shed hygiene and general farm work. We use the DairyNZ farm assistant profile as a job description. You must work well within a team, be willing to learn and have great communication skills.
