We are an accredited employer, but would prefer applicants to have NZ dairy farming experience. We require two people to assist us with milking our 540 cows on a flat farm at Ruawai, Northland.  Ideally one person will have experience in milking, including locating mastitis, lame cows, plant wash etc. Operating a tractor and feedout wagon would be great but not necessary.  This role is a full time position.  The second person is needed full time over calving and mating, but mainly for milking from November onwards. We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven entry level farm assistant to join our operation. We are located on the Ruawai Flats, Northland, milking 320 cows through a 30ASHB with ACRs. Our plan start of calving is 1st of July and we milk twice a day until January then change to either 3 in 2 or Once a day milkings.   Duties will include assisting with the day to day running of the farm. Must have a positive and strong work ethic. We are looking for a motivated and pasture focused farm manager or contract milker to join our team. We can tailor the job to be either wages or contract milking, depending on your preference and experience level. The right attitude is more import to us than anything else. We are looking for someone with a can do attitude, open to change and positive and happy disposition. Milking 300 cows through a 30 aside herringbone shed.
