Due to our overseas agri students finishing there practical work we have a great opportunity as herd manager. We oversee a group of four dairy farms. Two in the Longbeach area (Mid Canterbury) and two in the Rangitata area (South Canterbury). The farms are milking betweeen 700-1100 cows. We have rotary sheds with Pro track and cup removers. It is mostly under pivot irrigation with some fixed grid and sprinklers. We require someone in a full time role that can fit our team culture and work with us to achieve our business goals and values. You must: Have a strong work ethic and related well to a team. Undertake key duties in stock management and production, pasture management and maintaining a high standard in asset management. Be able to utilise a computer to a basic level for timesheet, maintenance and H&S.  Assist your manager in achieving monthly KPI's. Strive to be in the top 10% of the dairy industry.
