Senior  farm assistant/2IC for 1000 Cow Herd. We require: - At least 1 years experience as 2IC/farm manager. - High work standards, enthusiasm and good communication skills. - A reliable and trustworthy person with a can-do attitude who takes pride in their work. - Attention to detail and good time management. - Excellent animal husbandry. - Must be drug free and hold a clean, full driver's licence. - Must be eligible to work in New Zealand. - Ability to take sole charge in the absence of Farm Manager The position will involve feed management (pasture, supplementary feed) milking cows, break fencing, weed management, moving irrigation, tractor work, assisting with animal health and all other farming duties as required. Must be capable of dealing with down cows and calving cows. We milk through a 80 bail  rotary shed. We are spring calving on flat country.
