We are currently in our 17th year of share milking on our beautiful 244 Ha farm located just minutes from Kumara Junction and only 13 mins to Greymouth. Being a husband-and-wife team, we are very family friendly, and we love to get our 3 beautiful daughters involved on the farm when they have time.   On that note, although we are needing an assistant farm manager, we are the kind of people that don’t really put too much emphasis on titles as we are a team and we all pitch in, however we do need someone who has at least 3 to 4 years’ experience in the industry so that you can manage the farm when we want to take some time off.  Essential skills that you must possess to be successful in this role are pasture management, tractor driving, producing the highest quality milk, animal husbandry, drenching/vaccinating, identify and treat mastitis and lame cows, reliable, honest and hardworking.   Treat the farm as if it is your own.  In return we offer a competitive salary...
