Tractor Operator & Farm Maintenance – Haupiri Dairy Farms & Runoff (West Coast, South Island)
Position Overview We’re looking for a reliable, practical, and experienced operator to join our Haupiri dairy farming team. This role covers tractor operation, general farm maintenance, and support across both the dairy farms and runoff. You’ll be hands‑on with day‑to‑day operations including feeding out, cultivation, fertiliser application, spraying, and pasture/ crop establishment.
Key Responsibilities
Tractor & Machinery Operation
Feeding out silage, baleage, and other supplementary feeds.
Operating tractors, diggers, and farm equipment safely and efficiently.
Cultivation work including ripping, discing, harrowing, rolling, and seedbed preparation.
Sowing grass and crop paddocks using drills and spreaders.
Fertiliser spreading (solid and liquid) across dairy platforms and runoff.
