We are seeking a Farm assistant/Senior farm assistant for our 700 cow farm starting June 2025. We are located 30 minutes from Greymouth and 30 minutes from Reefton with school buses to the gate and excellent hunting in the area.    We milk through a 50 bail rotary with ACR’s, protrack drafting and Allflex collars. The farm is 410 Ha including the run-off where the young-stock graze and cows are wintered. The majority of the farm is flat river terraces with some humps and hollows. The farm has 70 Ha of Kline as well as a pivot irrigator.    Our ideal candidate would have a few month's experience with milking cows, but we are happy to train the right person. The most important attributes are a willingness to learn, good communication and a love of working with animals.
