Outdoor and stock role for a experienced herd manager for this coming season While some milking will be required (more so during calving and mating) to fill any gaps, this role is largely non-milking as we have that pretty well covered. We are located in the Longbeach/Eiffelton area and contract milk 1200 cows and are responsible for running the 60ha runoff and 40ha young stock block with 300r1s, 300r2s and 50 carry overs. This is a high input farm. Our cows produce 560 kg MS per cow and we are looking to improve this. The long term target is to achieve 700,000 milksolids in a season. We are looking for a long term fit and motivated person who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty, has some good team and people skills and takes pride in achieving better and better on farm results to join our team of 6-7 people.
