Looking for a motivated and enthusiastic 2IC for a 680 cow farm near Darfield. Milking through a 40 aside herringbone with auto-cup removers. Has protrack and has in shed feeding. The cows are predominantly Frisian with high production amounts in the previous seasons. The farm is A2 and Lead with Pride so a high standard is expected. We pride ourselves in animal husbandry and cleanliness so these aspects are a must in the successful candidate. We are very hands on sharemilkers so there is plenty of opportunity to learn. Experience needed in all day to day tasks of farming, and be confident in a tractor and be confident to run the farm to a high level when the sharemilkers are away. There are school buses running past the gate and is very central to Darfield, Rolleston and Dunsandel and is only 30 mins to Christchurch.
