We milk 950 cows thorough a 60 bale rotary with meal feeder, protrack and auto teat spray.  OAD The farm is a rolling hill contour 600 ha include 150 ha for replacements. The applicant requires knowledge and skills to support/manage all aspect of day to day running of the farm.  The applicant must have a current driving license and must be drug free. We are seeking to appoint an additional Farm Assistant to work in a 4 person team milking 750 cows at Tahuna, 20kms north of Morrinsville. We are flexible in that the position would equally suit someone who has either 2 - 3 years experience, or equally a person who has some knowledge of dairy farming but may have limited experience so far. Milking duties will be on a roster and in a 54 bail rotary with full automation. 

Due to promotion within our team we now require a new calf rearer to help at our 950 cow dairy farm in Lauriston (Thompsons Track) which is 20min from Ashburton and 15min to Rakaia and Methven. This position is a drive in as there is no accommodation available. This position will be for a fixed term period from Mid July 2025 to October 2025, it will be for approx. 40hrs per week and the roster can be discussed at the interview, there is potentially some work from the beginning of June for the right person.
