I worked for 16 weeks in the 2022/23 summer on two dairy farms in Whakamaru and Arapuni relief milking and fencing. The work completed during this employment consisted of the following list. ΓÇó Worked with heavy machinery including tractors and large implements like levelers, and heavy trailers. ΓÇó Worked with light vehicles including Utes, quad bikes and 2 wheelers. ΓÇó Relief milking. ΓÇó Fencing. ΓÇó Weed spraying. I have also worked 12 weeks for Camphill Farming Ltd during the 2023-24 summer on a sheep/dairy grazing farm in Wyndham Southland. The work completed during this employment consisted of the following list. ΓÇó Operated tractors performing a range of tasks including power harrowing, bale cartage, hydraulic post ramming, mowing, bale stacking/placing in winter feed paddocks, and gorse spraying. ΓÇó Operated light vehicles like quad bikes, utes and ATVs. ΓÇó Maintenance fencing. ΓÇó General stock work including drenching, ear tagging, crutching, penning, vaccinating, drafting, mustering, etc. ΓÇó Grose spraying. ΓÇó Break fence moving. Lastly, I have worked for the Hays Bowden Fields Ltd high country station in the Hakataramea for two weeks during the September uni break in 2023 and three weeks during the 2024 mid-year break. The work completed during that employment consisted of the following list. ΓÇó Heavy rolling lucerne paddocks. ΓÇó Feeding out silage and baleage. ΓÇó General stock work including ear tagging, vaccinating, drenching, dipping, pregnancy scanning and set stocking.
