| Job Description |
We are on the lookout for a dairy farm assistant. Must at least 2 years experience. We are wanting someone who is passionate about working with cows. We have 700 Xbred cows milked through a modern 54 bale rotary shed with inshed feeding, ACRs, mastitis detection, inbale teat spray. Must be able to detect lame and mastitis cows. The cows calve on a calving pad which makes the whole process very efficient. The job will include all aspects from milking , setting up break fences, weed control, wintering cows, and general farm maintenance. Available is a 3 bedroom home with double garage and a fire and heat pump. Farm is located Mossburn Southland. In the process of being accredited 😊 |
