The farm has a 60 bail rotary shed with in shed  feeding , allflex system and cup removers .Irrigation is fix grid , pivots, and klines (20 minutes). The applicants are required to have minimum 2 years nz dairy farm experience and be confident with milking , animal health and some knowledge about pasture management .

We are looking for three experienced farm workers (at least 18 months of experience) for a Herd Manager role on a 1900 cow farm in the Georgetown area. The farm is located 18 km from Oamaru, milking through a 50 and 60 Bail Rotary sheds. You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including: - Milking and monitoring milk quality, - training junior staff, - stock handling and feeding (feed mgt), - fencing, weed control, - calving, calf rearing, - shed maintenance & preparation, - tractor operation for feeding out, baling, mowing and silage - monitoring, recording and maintaining animal health - and other general farm duties.
