 We are looking for a Herd Manager to join our team on a 700 cow dairy operation. The 522 ha farm is located in the Haupiri Valley.   The cows are milked through a 41-a-side herringbone shed. We run a high grass, low  bought in feed system.  The necessary character goals required for you to excel in this job, are the following you will need to be Patient, Perseverant, Self-Disciplined, Responsible, and Independent, with a life-long Growth/improvement mindset.  The applicant must:  1. Have minimum of 2 years Dairy Farm experience.  2. Proof of no criminal convictions.  3. Must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing.  4. Supply at least two recent references.  5. Have completed at least Level 1 NCEA or the equivalent of that.
