Outdoor and stock role for a experienced herd manager for this coming season While some milking will be required (more so during calving and mating) to fill any gaps, this role is largely non-milking as we have that pretty well covered. We are located in the Longbeach/Eiffelton area and contract milk 1200 cows and are responsible for running the 60ha runoff and 40ha young stock block with 300r1s, 300r2s and 50 carry overs. This is a high input farm. Our cows produce 560 kg MS per cow and we are looking to improve this. The long term target is to achieve 700,000 milksolids in a season.
