Able to drive a tractor and a feed out wagon plus help out with the machine matience . Be able to ride 2 and 4 wheel bikes.. We enjoy having a laugh but also can get stuck in and work as a team. The right candidate can identify mastitis and unwell cows,able to feed out in smart shelters can set up a break and are able to problem solve and think for themselves. We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven entry level farm assistant to join our operation. We are located on the Ruawai Flats, Northland, milking 320 cows through a 30ASHB with ACRs. Our plan start of calving is 1st of July and we milk twice a day until January then change to either 3 in 2 or Once a day milkings.   Duties will include assisting with the day to day running of the farm. Must have a positive and strong work ethic. Join us as a Farm Assistant to work alongside our Farm Manager to help run a 125ha farm, 340 cows at peak.
