We are looking for a farm assistant with some farming experience to join our team. e.g previous milking/driving farm bikes experience. We aim to milk 385 cows at peak through a 40 aside herringbone cowshed. The position is 12 days on 2 days off, and roughly 8 hours a day. A small three bedroom home is included in the salary. The farm is located 2 minutes from otorohanga township. This is a good starting position for a enthusiastic person wanting to make a career in the farming industry. Farm owner and manager will be on hand to upskill and advise. Must be reliable and eligible to work in NZ.  

We are running a 620 cows dairy farm 20 minutes drive from Otorohanga. Our milking takes more times then normal due to have 30 bail internal rotary shed. Contract Milker is looking for a proactive Farm Assistant to join our team of three. Dairy farming experience or relevant education is preferred but can do attituide and fit in the team is must. On farm training will be provided. strictly NO DRUG or SMOKING policy on farm or in side farm house. We are looking for a Farm assistant/2IC to work with owner on a dairy farm 10 minutes east of Hamilton. The farm is milking 360 mature cows through a 36 aside herringbone shed. We also own two small neighbouring farms and farm all three as a single operation. The other two farms have herd managers working on them and the heifers and younger cows are run on these farms. Outside of milkings, farm work is shared among the staff leading to a great team working environment but with clear lines of responsibility. One with 460 cows and one with 900 cows in the Aria area, milking through a 54 Bail Rotary shed.
