The Farm this season is milking 1250 cows on 600 ha out of 1200 ha effective property. The balance of the farm is used for dry stock, grazing and supplements. this position has come available due to the business wanting to support the new manager is his position . We are looking for with someone with a good level of experience and is capable of running or stepping up to run a herd and also the farm when manager has time off as part of a larger farm of this size. The position would suit a person with at least 4 years experience in larger herds , who loves getting milk from cows, seeing them in good condition, well fed and milked efficiently. We have 2 positions available to replace our current staff of 9 years there will also be relief milking for a partner etc. Milking 580-600 cows in Mangakino, good community and schooling in the district.
