We milk 950 cows thorough a 60 bale rotary with meal feeder, protrack and auto teat spray.  OAD The farm is a rolling hill contour 600 ha include 150 ha for replacements. We have a vacancy for a dairy farm assistant.  Experience it preferred not not essential. This is for a 500 cow farm in the Rerewhakaaitu area, 30 minutes from Rotorua, milking through a 46 Aside Herringbone shed. You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including: Milking twice a day shifting cows and feeding fencing, weed control calving, calf rearing shed cleaning and setup identifying and alerting managers to sick cows Setting fences and other general farm duties Weekly hours are a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 50.
