You’ll be handling a variety of equipment including diggers, telehandlers, and tractors to support seasonal projects and construction activities. Able to drive a tractor and a feed out wagon plus help out with the machine matience . Be able to ride 2 and 4 wheel bikes.. We enjoy having a laugh but also can get stuck in and work as a team. The right candidate can identify mastitis and unwell cows,able to feed out in smart shelters can set up a break and are able to problem solve and think for themselves. We are looking for a competent and 100% reliable employee for our dairy farm on the outskirts of Hamilton. Employment options available for immediate start in a premium location just 7 km North of The Base. We milk 330 cows through a 23 a-side herringbone shed with ACRs and in-shed feeding system. As we are a small team (2 full time staff plus relief milker) we like everyone to be hands-on  doing all the tasks required to ensure the smooth running of the farm. What we are looking for in a team member would be someone with good common sense and who is quiet with stock, preferably from a farming background, with excellent animal health & husbandry and general on-farm skills including tractor experience, good time management skills and not afraid to get stuck in and get the job done.
