we are looking for someone full time over calving from mid July to End September and then from there solo charge relief milking will be available on every weekend. We are milking 180 cows through 18 aside HB cowshed near Te Poi, Matamata.

We require an extra person to join our team of milkers. It is a flexible roster from week to week but we need somebody who is able to do at least 3 mornings a week (weekdays or weekend - days can vary or be the same if you want a set day). We milk early as our team is made up of milkers who go to other daytime jobs or are Mums who need to get home to their kids earlier. So morning milkings are approx. 4-7am at the moment. There maybe afternoon milkings tues - thurs available during the week also if interested, These usually run approx 1.30-4/4.30pm. We are about 7-8 minutes from each boundary of Palmerston North and Feilding, so easy driving distance, (Bunnythorpe area). Always 2 milkers in the shed. You are there to assist and carry out usual duties of a relief milker. Peak cows 370, but we milk all year round, so always milkings available. Split calving, 70 autumn calving cows and 300 spring calving cows.

We are seeking a calf rearer for the coming season on our farm situated just 5 minutes from Dannevirke. We are seeking a person with patience to care for calves, good communication, great work ethic, physical fitness and must have reliable transportation to and from the farm. Required from 21st July to 5th September approximately.  Experience preferred for role (but not essential). Must have NZ residency . Requirements Day to day feeding of calves  Maintaining clean and hygienic equipment and facilities Identify health issues in calves, communicate these, and treat calves Prepare bobbies for transport Hours split between morning and afternoon feedings You may be required to operate a four wheeler motor bike. 

We are looking for a calf rearer to join our team this coming season. Our farm is located between Riversdale and Mandeville, 15 minutes away from Gore and 12 minutes away from Balfour. We milk 1200 cows and looking to keep 230 calves as replacements and the rest will be bobbies. You will be working along with the Farm Manager and another person from the team if needed. We understand people do have families and can be flexible with working hours and roster for school drop offs and pickups.

Spring Assistant and Relief Milker Supporting Farm Manager with morning milking, collecting cows and calves from mid July to end of AB mid November followed by regular relief milking available for 3 days every second weekend to provide Manager time off. Our flat 90ha farm is located very close to Okato township and this is a drive-in position. Milking 240 jersey cows through a 22 aside herringbone cowshed operated as a low input grass based system with a small amount of inshed feed utilised when required.  Competitive hourly rate available.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and patient calf rearer to join our team this calving season. This role will work with another calf rearer to ease the workload. The 1000 cow farm is located in Dipton- 30 mins from Winton and 1 hour from Invercargill. There will be approximately 250 replacement calves with the remainder being sent as bobbies. Calves will be fed twice a day for a month before being switched to once a day. Experience preferred but not necessary. Care and respect for the calves, good observation skills, and tidy record keeping are essential. The roles are predominantly focused on calf rearing but there may be opportunities for some other work on farm e.g. relief milking. The shed is a 10 year old, 64 bail rotary.
