We are looking for a farm assistant to join our team for the 2025/26 season. Located 15km from Palmerston North and Feilding Key Responsibilities  milking 330 cows through a 30 aside herringbone shed        Cleaning shed Fencing and temp fences Weed Management  Moving effluent irrigator     Help with calving  and feeding calves Feeding silage and hay General maintenance  Requirements  Positive attitude and willing to work in a team as well as independently  Good communication  Dairy farm experience preferred  Good level of fitness NZ Driver license required  Drug free NOT AEWV accredited 

Farm Assistant position available on 350-cow farm near Tokomaru, 15 minutes south of Palmerston North. Start date from 3 June. This is a drive-in position, there is no accommodation is available. 4 days off per fortnight, including every 2nd weekend off. Working with farm owner, 2IC and relief milkers. 25 ashb shed with ACRs. Pedigree Holstein Friesian herd. Looking for someone who enjoys working with cows and is keen to learn and progress in the industry. No smoking/vaping permitted anywhere on farm. Must have current driver’s licence (preferably Full), reliable transport and be punctual. Must currently live in NZ and be permitted to work in NZ. Previous NZ dairy experience preferred. We are not registered as an INZ accredited employer.
