Due to promotion within our team we now require a new calf rearer to help at our 950 cow dairy farm in Lauriston (Thompsons Track) which is 20min from Ashburton and 15min to Rakaia and Methven. This position is a drive in as there is no accommodation available. This position will be for a fixed term period from Mid July 2025 to October 2025, it will be for approx. 40hrs per week and the roster can be discussed at the interview, there is potentially some work from the beginning of June for the right person. Experience is a help but not essential as full training and support of our system will be given. We will be rearing 250 heifers through to 100kg and also feeding in excess of 400-500 Friesian bulls and Herefords to 4 days old, we have one person that purchases all 4 day old beef and bull calves from us which makes for an easy system.
