2ic/heard manager -400 cows  Assistant manager (2IC) /Heard manager to join us for the 2025/2026 season . located 15 minutes from Hamilton ,13 minutes from Morrinsville   , with system 3-4 farm milking 400 cows threw 40  ashb .  Farm is 127ha effective flat to easy rolling contour located in Waikato . You will be working closely along side with the Contract milkier  and be involved in all aspects of the day to day running of the farm including milking ,animal  health , pasture management , rearing calves , feeding out , effluent management ,repair and maintenance fences . Minimum of 30 hours per week . Must be honest ,trust worthy and reliable . Remuneration range  from    $29--$32 per hour . Candidates must have Nz driving licence,  1 year experience  or relevant agricultural qualification.

We are looking for a Farm assistant/2IC to work with owner on a dairy farm 10 minutes east of Hamilton. The farm is milking 360 mature cows through a 36 aside herringbone shed. We also own two small neighbouring farms and farm all three as a single operation. The other two farms have herd managers working on them and the heifers and younger cows are run on these farms. Outside of milkings, farm work is shared among the staff leading to a great team working environment but with clear lines of responsibility. We offer a supportive environment with plenty of opportunities to learn. The applicant should have a minimum of 1 years experience and be keen to progress in the dairy industry.
