Ashmount Farm is an exciting new dairy farm conversion currently being developed just outside of Chertsey. We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable herd manager to be part of the team running this operation starting June 2026. The farm is in a great location, only a 10 minute drive to Rakaia or 15 minute drive to Ashburton! About the farm The farm is 426ha in total and will milk 1700 cows through a brand new 80 bail Read shed in the 2026-27 season. The shed will have ACRs, Protrack and in-shed feeding with Cowmanager tags. The farm will be irrigated by 5 pivots, with a small amount of dryland corners. We will operate a system that strives to maximise pasture harvested while feeding cows to their potential.
