Assistant Farm Manager

The Assistant Farm Manager is responsible for the day to day operation of the farm which is a milking platform with young stock grazed off after weaning. General responsibility for maintaining stock and farm records.  This is a easy contour farm with 28 aside herringbone shed, in shed feeding. Aiming to calve about 200 cows in the spring with 80-100 autumn calving for the winter. The property is close to Tokoroa with several school choices. Accommodation tidy four bedroom house. No dogs. The Farm Manager must have more than 3 years NZ experience and have a consistent work history in dairying. They also need to demonstrate good communication and practical dairy farming skills.
