We are looking for a part time farm assistant to join our team.  We are running 750 cows on a system five, with a mixer wagon, feed pad and barn.  We are split calving and milk twice a day year round.  The cowshed is a 50 bale rotary with ACRs and automatic teatspray. Tractor experience is necessary.  Solo milking and tractor work are a big part of this role along with general farm maintenance and spraying as required. This position guarantees 20 hours work per week, with more hours potentially available during busy times.  A one bedroom, tidy and warm cottage with car port, is available.  No inside dogs and no dogs on the farm as the cows aren't used to them.  If you have cats be aware that there are several domestic and wild cats on this farm.
