We are seeking a Farm Assistant to join our team for the upcoming season.
The farm has 4 full-time staff on a 6/2 roster milking 830 cows through a 50-bail rotary with ACR's & in-shed feeding.
The successful applicant must be honest, reliable, punctual and work well in a team environment.
The farm is located 5 mintues from Dunsandel, 5 minutes from Leeston, 15 minutes from Rolleston and just over 30 minutes from Christchurch.
The farm is irrigated by 4 pivots, 2 roto rainers, sprinklers & k-lines.
Main duties for the successful applicant will include but not limited to;
Milking, Weed management, Animal Health, Calf feeding, Fencing, Effluent Management etc.
Salary is negotiable upon the applicant's experience & skills.
