Key attitudes and skills our herd manager will need:
· To share our vision and values - in particular a passion for cows and dairying.
· Be a respectful, motivated and positive member of our team.
· Be a skilled pasture manager and have knowledge of how to fully feed our herd.
· Exceptional animal husbandry skills - including calving and emergency care of cows, and treatment of lameness.
· Operate machinery confidently and maintain it to a high standard.
· Keep accurate records.
· Farm without harm to people or cows.
· Communicate clearly and be an organized person.
· Be curious and keen to learn.

· To be a NZ resident.
· A minimum of 3 references.
· A full drivers license.
· 5+ years continuous dairy farming experience in New Zealand
· Be able to demonstrate your skills with pasture management and animal husbandry.
