The opportunity –
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Farm Manager to manage 1 of our 12 dairy units. The dairy unit is 350ha with 1150 cows milked through a 50 aside Herringbone. The role will require you to lead a team of 5 fulltime staff encouraging a positive, high-performing culture while driving productivity. This role reports directly to the Operations Manager and you will work closely with them to ensure farms plans and targets are achieved.
What you need –
To be successful in this role, you will need at least 5 years’ experience. Experience managing staff, excellent animal husbandry, pasture and feed management skills and knowledge, and excellent communication skills both written and oral are essential to this role.
