CALF REARER – DRIVE IN POSITION
Grasslands are going into their third season in the Waikato and have dairy farms in Tokoroa approximately 20 minutes from the Tokoroa township.
The farms average 1000 cows and we have two calf rearing positions on these farms for approximately 8 weeks for experienced calf rearers. This would be from mid-July to approximately the end of September.
The farms have excellent calf rearing facilities and are well equipped for the numbers of calves that are reared in them.
We are looking for 2 experienced and motivated calf rearers with patience and an understanding and respect for animal welfare which is of paramount importance to the Grasslands organization.
This position would ideally suit applicants who have experience in rearing large numbers of calves, be physically fit and have excellent time management skills.
