We are seeking a reliable and motivated Senior Farm Assistant to support the day-to-day operations on our dairy farm, located just 10 minutes from Ashburton. Our farm milks 800 cows on 143 hectares, and key responsibilities include milking, setting up break fences, and maintaining the cleanliness of the yard and cowshed. The farm also has a feed pad, providing the opportunity to learn and assist with feed mixing and feeding out. We operate on an 8 days on, 2 days off / 8 days on, 3 days off roster, offering a good balance of work and time off. This will be assisting our head calf rearer - rear our 1150 calves we rear.
