The farm comprises of 450 effective hectares. All cows are wintered on farm. Cows start calving from the 27th of July. The cows are milked through a 50 bale rotary, so during the peak there are 3 herds and long milkings but we try to have everyone in the shed only 1 time per day.
As long as a 8:2,8:3 roster, there are 1-2 sleep ins and weekends are usually just the main jobs.
