we are seeking a passionate hard working person who is willing to learn to help us run a 500 cow high input farm located on the haruraki plains (Ngatea). 160 hectares of flat land which consists of a mix of peat and clay. We run a 2 herd system through a 40ASHB shed with a straight flow through yard connected to a feed pad. The successful applicant will be required to milk cows shift effluent set up break fences and any other farm jobs required. You must have 2 years of dairy farming in New Zealand and hold a currant drivers license. New Zealand residents only. You must be confident riding a two wheeler and operating a tractor in a safe and responsible manner. Drug free we have a zero tolerance for drugs and random drug testing will apply.
