Herd size is 600 Friesian. We run 4 staff and are a family run farm.
100% irrigated, pivots and rainers. 18km from Ashburton - great location.
Feed supplements on platform silage/straw. Must be able to put up breaks and fences.
Have license and be able to use 2 and 4-wheeler motorbikes, tractors and feed out equipment.
Will not be required to be a calf rearer but will be needed to bring calves in off paddock and be able to keep accurate records
Prefer someone who has been already on a NZ dairy farm who understands the spring work commitment
We are not AEWV accredited. Have to be residing in NZ to apply please.
